About Sam

My name is Sam, and I’m the owner and trainer at Evolve Health and Fitness.

I’ve been a Personal Trainer since 2017, following a career in the Army, and a lifelong passion for coaching, from working with people with disabilities to coaching gymnastics, football, and cricket.

Today, I work with individuals who are ready to take charge of their health and well-being for the long term. Many of my clients are retired or successful professionals entering a new phase of life, committed to feeling stronger, moving better, and living with confidence. Whatever your current ability, from fully able-bodied to managing conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia, I’ll adapt the coaching to support your goals and help you thrive.

Why Listen To Me?

I grew up surrounded by family and friends who struggled with their health, smoking, heavy drinking, type 2 diabetes, and obesity were the norm, not the exception. I watched them chase quick fixes like fad diets, fat-burning pills, and waist trainers, all of which led nowhere. Some turned to extreme exercise or battled eating disorders, leaving them exhausted and still unwell.

Losing my mum to the consequences of poor health choices, smoking, and drinking was a turning point.

Since then, I’ve wanted to work with people over 50 to help them take control of their health in a sustainable way, that supports the life they want to live, not one they feel trapped by.

You have to be ready to invest in yourself and to make lasting change for good.
